Shattered Identity is a 3D parkour game about a person with mental illnesses - Dissociative identity disorder and schizophrenia. Your goal is to escape their dream filled with different memories representing the person's past. Along the way you will also encounter multiple voices. 

Game consists of three playable levels:

1. Tutorial
2. The Maze
3. Interspace

Each level is drastically different. I wanted to show the player the unpredictability of dreams. I was inspired by my own dreams which were very similiar to those in game, but I also talked to a lot of people about their dreams. I researched a lot about the voices, halucinations etc. which are in the game aswell.

Each character in the game is dubbed. For the main character I hired Sam Oakley from Fiverr and other two characters are voiced by me and my classmate. There are also cutscenes, that immerse you more into the story.

The initial development started in June 2023 when I came up with an idea to combine parkour with my own characters. I used an idea I had in mind and changed it to fit my vision better. I'm planning to release it, along with other stories, as a book. This game is also my very first 3D game with such complex mechanics.

The game is far from finished. When I'll have the time and energy, I'm planning to change the story, locations and dialogues. I will also transfer from Unity Engine to Unreal Engine 5, which gives me much more tools I need. You can the process on Instagram @fracturedidentity_game.
